Two days before holiday break it’s clear i am coming down with something different than the usual sinus infection. Sore throat, hot, tight lungs and a fever. I NEVER get a fever. Dr. visit> fluid in lungs> antibiotics> waiting game. Here we are the day after Xmas and i still can’t make it through 3 hours of the day with out dropping on the nearest piece of furniture for nap.

My holiday was dotted with sweatpants, frequent sleeps, hot tea, my mom’s press cookies and generous gifts from my family. So i am grateful to them for caring for me on their holiday.

I am days away from a major deadline at work, doing all the healing things i can think of to get back to work. Well, everything except for not stressing about work.

In the meantime, i’ve had my face in pinterest & stumbleupon, finding lots of inspiration for when i get my life back.
